Our History

DentuCare Denture Professionals started as Beenleigh Denture Clinic and has served the Beenleigh district and surrounds since 1993. Originally located in Reece House in George Street, we relocated to our current location in 2004.

Legislation allowing dental prosthetists (DPs) to practice direct to the public was introduced in Queensland by the Goss Labor government in 1992. Since then, there has been no need for a referral to a DP and all health funds and Department of Veteran Affairs acknowledge services provided by DPs.

In late 2007, Medicare also invited DPs to register as providers for eligible patients.
